Three different ice-themed venues in Pattaya — one's a daytime excursion 15km out, two are actually on Walking Street. Here's the real difference and what each one costs.
Three different ice-themed venues cover Pattaya, and they're not interchangeable — one's a daytime attraction outside the city, two are Walking Street nightlife stops. Here's the real difference.
Frost Magical Ice of Siam
Located at 75 Nong Pla Lai, Bang Lamung — about 15km from central Pattaya, so this is a planned excursion, not a walk-in stop on a night out. Open daily 9am–9pm. Entry is ฿600, which includes a drink served in an ice glass and a loaner overcoat. Because of its hours and distance, it works better as a daytime or early-evening activity than something you fit into a Walking Street night.
ICEBAR V2O — Walking Street
A venue actually on Walking Street, split into a regular cocktail lounge and a separate −15°C Ice Room. This is the one that fits into an actual bar-hopping night rather than requiring a separate trip.
V Lounge & Ice Bar — Walking Street / Soi 15 corner
Also on Walking Street, at the corner of Soi 15. Its −11°C "Ice Cube" room provides a jacket and hat on entry, similar concept to V2O but a few degrees warmer and a different location on the strip.
| Venue | Location | Temp | Fits into a night out? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Frost Magical Ice of Siam | Nong Pla Lai, ~15km out | N/A (whole venue is chilled) | No — separate day trip, 9am–9pm |
| ICEBAR V2O | Walking Street | −15°C room | Yes |
| V Lounge & Ice Bar | Walking Street, Soi 15 corner | −11°C room | Yes |

Frequently Asked Questions
Which ice bar should I pick if I'm already out on Walking Street?
ICEBAR V2O or V Lounge & Ice Bar — both are on Walking Street itself. Frost Magical Ice of Siam requires a separate trip out of town and closes at 9pm, so it doesn't work as a spontaneous late-night stop.
Do I need to book Frost Magical Ice of Siam in advance?
It's sold as a ticketed attraction (available through GetYourGuide and similar platforms), so booking ahead is the more reliable option, especially since it's outside the main tourist strip.
What should I wear into the ice rooms?
Both Walking Street venues provide cold-weather gear at the door — V Lounge specifically includes a jacket and hat with entry to its Ice Cube room.
