Waking up at 5am was worth every second. The Bosphorus at sunrise is something you need to experience at least once in your lifetime. I walked from Ortakoy to Bebek while the city was still asleep. The seagulls, the fishing boats, the smell of fresh simit... Istanbul never fails to surprise me.
