About this experience
Board a short ferry from Bodrum and spend the day exploring Kos, the neighboring Greek island just across the Aegean. The itinerary blends ancient ruins, sun‑kissed beaches and easy coastal travel, giving you a taste of two cultures in one relaxed outing.
What to Expect
The journey begins with a breezy ferry crossing that offers panoramic views of the turquoise sea. Once ashore, you’ll wander through Kos’s historic heart—visiting sites such as the Asklepion sanctuary and the medieval castle—before heading to a sandy beach for swimming or sunbathing. Throughout the day, local cafés provide opportunities to sample Greek‑Turkish fusion snacks, and the return ferry brings you back to Bodrum in the early evening.
Who It's For
This day trip suits travelers who want a quick cultural immersion without overnight packing, from history enthusiasts eager to see ancient ruins to beach lovers craving a sun break. Families with children, couples seeking a romantic mini‑escape, and solo adventurers alike will find the pace comfortable and the scenery rewarding.
Good to Know
Wear comfortable walking shoes for cobblestone streets, bring swimwear and a towel for beach time, and don’t forget sunscreen and a hat for the Mediterranean sun. A passport or national ID is required for crossing the border, and while most ferry decks are wheelchair‑friendly, some historic sites have uneven terrain. Leaving early in the day maximizes your time on Kos, especially during the busy summer months.

Wycieczka przebiegła szybko i przyjemnie.”
— Tomasz
“Beautiful place and plenty of time there, however there is no direction on what to do from when they drop you off at port or when to come back, it’s €15 each as well as the cost of the trip, my transfer was like 25mins late and border control at kos takes a while also go left out of the border control to get to the center as we didn’t know where to go at first”
— Lana
“Well the journey to Kos was smooth and easy. It’s a long time to spend in Kos and there isn’t much to see or do. Kos is very expensive so be prepared . The journey back was horrendous, boat was delayed and the organisation getting on was absolutely terrible . With the money spent in Kos I can honestly say it was a complete waste of time and money .”
— Samantha
